The largest and strongest German fortress of its time (1893–1916), the first fully armoured German fortification supplied with electric power. Accessible only on guided tours (approx. 2.5 hours), available year-round by reservation as well as on fixed dates without booking (also offered in German and English depending on the season). Open daily except 25 December and 1 January. Adults: €12, youths (from age 6): €7, children under 6: free.
